Dates

September: 10th, 17th & 24th
October: 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th
November: 5th, 12th & 19th
(No tournament on November 26th)

Entry

Entry is free. Each player must have a player’s reward card. Players may purchase one $20 add‑on for an extra $1,200 in tournament chips. The add‑on must be purchased at the time of registration.

Qualifying Round – 3 PM, 4 PM, 5 PM & 6 PM

Four tables are used per time slot (28 players maximum per round with 7 players per table; minimum four players per table). Each table winner advances. In addition, the three highest chip totals from that round that didn’t win their table also advance.

Semi‑Final Round – 7 PM

Semi‑finals consist of 28 entries. The four semi‑final table winners plus the three top scores at the end of regulation that didn’t win move on. The four highest non‑advancing chip totals from the qualifying rounds of the day will receive Tournament of Champions (TOC) invites.

Final Round – 8 PM

The day concludes with the final table at 8 PM.

Each $20 add‑on is split $10 into the prize pool and $10 to administration.

Rules

  1. Starting chips – Each tournament player receives $2,100 worth of non‑negotiable tournament chips at the start of the round.
  2. Add‑on – Players are allowed one $20 “add‑on,” which provides an additional $1,200 in starting chips. The add‑on must be purchased at registration.
  3. Betting limits – Minimum bet is $5; there is no maximum bet.
  4. Chip counts – Chip counts occur only during the last three hands (hands 19–21).
  5. Hands per round – Each round consists of twenty‑one hands with one player per spot.
  6. Ties – First‑place ties (or ties in the qualifying or semi‑final rounds that affect advancing players) are settled by a four‑hand playoff. Those additional hands count each hand. All other ties are settled by splitting the prize money for the tied positions.
  7. Rotating button – A rotating button indicates the order of dealing and betting. It moves one position after each hand. Initial button position is determined by a high‑card draw.
  8. No changing bets – After a bet is placed it cannot be changed.
  9. Attendance – Any player missing the first hand of a round is disqualified.
  10. Chip separation – All players must keep their chips separated by denomination and in full view of all other players.
  11. One player per hand – No coaching allowed.
  12. House rules – Running Aces house rules prevail; except blackjack pays 2 to 1. No surrender.
  13. One qualifying round per day – Players may only play one qualifying round per day. Players must be a member of the Aces Rewards Program.
  14. Incorrect payouts – If a player is incorrectly paid and the error is reported by a player or noticed by the dealer prior to the start of the next hand being dealt it shall be corrected immediately. Errors discovered after the next hand starts will not be corrected.
  15. Eligibility – All players must be 18 years of age or older.
  16. Management rights – Running Aces reserves the right to refuse tournament entry to anyone, to change or to cancel the tournament for any reason, at which time any fees will promptly be refunded.
  17. Disputes – All disputes settled by tournament officials are final.
  18. Open to the day – Tournament opens at 2 PM the day of the tournament.
  19. Registration cutoff – Registration closes for each qualifying round 15 minutes prior to the start of that qualifying round.
  20. Seating – Semi‑final and Final round table and seats will be determined by selecting a seat card out of a drum.
  21. Official rules – See Official rules on day of tournament.

disclaimer: Registration begins at 2:00 PM at the cashier for the first 112 players. No alternates. One entry per person per day. Players must have their player card and a valid photo ID to register. Registration for each qualifying round closes 15 minutes before start. Players may purchase one $20 add‑on at registration for $1,200 in tournament chips. Tournament dates are the Wednesdays listed above (no tournament on November 26th). All disputes resolved by tournament officials. Must be 18+ and an Aces Rewards member to participate. Membership is free. Running Aces reserves the right to change or cancel this tournament/promotion at any time without notice. Running Aces supports responsible gaming.
