Over time, player driven BJTUSA has grown into a trusted community of players and casino personnel who value reliable information and the opportunity to reconnect over friendly competition from one event to the next. We are sincerely grateful for the continued support of both the players who participate and the properties that make these tournaments possible.
To help ensure uninterrupted communication, we have taken a positive step forward by upgrading our email and text notification system. Messaging platforms now apply very strict filtering to combat increasingly sophisticated spam activity, and unfortunately the word “blackjack” can trigger automated blocks — even though tournament blackjack is no more gambling than a fishing tournament or a Bridge competition. These improvements allow us to communicate more reliably going forward.

A Note About the 2026 Tournament Landscape
We remember the COVID period when tournaments disappeared entirely. Since then, the consistency of Hard Rock Biloxi — with dependable $25,000 and $30,000 prize pools offered regularly throughout the year — has provided reliable opportunities for players across the region.
Golden Nugget Las Vegas continues to host one of the premier high-prize tournaments in the country, offering a format and purse that regularly draws serious tournament players from around the nation.
Paragon Casino Resort has made a significant impact on tournament quality. With its refined six-player tables, two advancing from early rounds, and creative use of wild-card playoff tables, Paragon has taken an already player-favored rule set and elevated it into something many now consider a new standard for tournament play. Their efforts have resulted in an atmosphere and format that players look forward to at their multiple $25,000 events this year.
We are genuinely fortunate to have these opportunities.
We’re also encouraged by signs of renewed interest in additional regions — including the Upper Midwest, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and the East Coast — while some of the largest events continue to take place out West.
