Another step in supporting the Tournament Blackjack community
We don’t send many notices like this. Most of the time we stay out of your inbox unless there’s something specific that helps you decide whether a tournament is worth the trip—schedules, room rates, or clear event details. This one is different, so we’re sending it on its own.
The BJTUSA Connect room is back and working! The earlier technical problems have been cleared, and the room is open again for players who want to talk with each other about tournament blackjack.
You can read what’s posted without signing up. To reply or start a new thread, you’ll need to be a member of the blackjacktournaments.com community. If you aren’t already, signing up is straightforward—use your name or choose a handle. Once you’re in, you can post anytime. As always, keep it clean and respectful of the other people in the room.
A number of you have said you miss the kind of straightforward conversation that used to happen on the old boards—practical exchanges about rules, recent events, properties, travel, and what actually worked (or didn’t) at a given tournament. When those boards went quiet, a lot of that back-and-forth went with them. Other social media handles family updates and trip photos well enough. It’s harder to find a place set up specifically for people who share an interest in competitive tournament blackjack and want to discuss it with others who understand the subject, or for those who are just starting and want to learn more from players who can help.
That’s what the Connect Room is for. It isn’t required, and nobody needs to carry the conversation. It’s simply available again for anyone who wants to use it—whether that’s asking a question, sharing something from a recent event, or just reading what others are saying. When tournament blackjack had a fuller calendar, those kinds of exchanges were common and useful. Players stayed current with each other, and the interest stayed more visible to the properties currently hosting events or considering adding them.
We still see a path toward a stronger, more consistent tournament calendar. That depends on players showing up and on properties seeing sustained interest. Clear conversation among players is one practical part of that. The room is open so those who have wanted it can start using it again and so others can benefit from their participation in it.

If you’ve been waiting for a place to talk about the events with other players, it’s there.
We appreciate blackjacktournaments.com for providing this space on their website so players can correspond. Beyond this arrangement, the forum is owned and hosted by them and is not otherwise affiliated with Blackjack Tournaments USA (BJTUSA.com).
