DESCRIPTION:BJTUSA Added Details / Comments\nFinals weekend brings together the qualifiers from the series of preliminary rounds that were played at both:\n• Choctaw Landing Casino\n• Choctaw Casino – Grant\, OK \nIMPORTANT: The tournament rules were provided via correspondence with Choctaw Landing Casino and they are\, to the best of our knowledge accurate for both above properties.  We have made minor edits\, only for clarifications. \nTo help clarify the finals requirements we have edited out as much as we can be sure does not apply since the qualifications are complete prior to the September 14th Finals.   While the rules are still lengthy\, they seem to address most questions you may have about the final weekend of play. If you need clarification\, it is strongly recommended that you contact the casino directly. \n  \n2025 Choctaw Casinos Regional Blackjack Tournament\nSemi/Final Tournament\nHeld at Grant 9/14/2025\n Blackjack Tournament Rules \n1)  Each entrant receives $3\,000 in tournament chips. \n2)  Table bet is $25 minimum/$500 maximum except for the last 3 hands (19\, 20\, 21). The final hand is $25 minimum/no maximum. \n3)  Seat positions will be assigned by a drawing at the table. These assignments can only be changed by Tournament Officials. \n4)  Tournament Officials will\, when possible\, see that each table has an equal number of players. \n5)  Decks are cut by a guest playing in the tournament. \n6)  Each tournament round will consist of exactly 21 hands being dealt. \n7)  The “dealer” button will advance one position with each hand. \n8)  Advancers and winners of each round will be determined upon completion of the 21st hand. \n9)  Following hand number 15\, all player chips will be counted by a tournament official and announced to all other players. \n10) Players have up to approximately 30 seconds to place their bets and act upon their hands. Violation of the allotted time may result in an elimination. \n11) A blackjack is paid 2-to-1\, unless the dealer also shows blackjack. \n12) No insurance is offered\, including even money. \n13) Players must place their own wagers and play every hand in the order in which they are dealt. \n14) Players who motion to\, over\, or place chips in the betting spot must wager what is in their hand. The player will not be allowed to remove or add any chips once they have made a motion to or placed the chips in the betting spot. \n15) Proper signals are required for all action. \n16) All players are required to be seated during tournament play. \n17) Dealers may pay winning wagers in any denomination of chips. \n18) All chips must always remain in full view of tournament officials. No player is allowed to hide or disguise the value or amount of tournament chips from other players. \n19) Tournament chips must remain in separate stacks according to color. \n20) Tournament chips cannot leave the tables and cannot be given to another player. \n21) At the end of each round\, players must remain seated until their chips have been verified. Guests must sign beside their total\, whereupon results cannot be changed or appealed. Failure to do so invalidates your entry. \n22) To voluntarily withdraw from the tournament before play is complete\, ask your dealer to call a Tournament Official over before leaving the table. \n23) Guests or spectators are not allowed to sit at tournament tables\, comment on play\, or otherwise cause disruption to the tournament. \n24) Tournament Officials have a final ruling in any misdealt hand or questionable situation and will always try to act in a fair and equitable manner. \n25) Players are not allowed to discuss betting strategy with anyone during play. \n26) Players are not allowed to use signals to other players or use mechanical\, electronic or written aids of any kind. \n27) English is the only language allowed during tournament play. \n28) No smoking\, drinking or eating is permitted at the table during tournament play. \n29) Tournament Officials can eliminate any player if they commit a violation of the tournament or house rules including but not limited to offensive behavior to other players\, dealers or Tournament Officials. Expelled players automatically forfeit their chips. \n30) Dealer tips are allowed\, but not with tournament chips. \n31) Guests must provide a valid photo I.D. to confirm their winning tournament play. \n32) The winner is responsible for all applicable taxes. An IRS Form W2-G will be prepared and presented to each recipient of $5\,000 or more. \n33) Interpretation of rules\, eligibility\, etc.\, is at the sole discretion of Grant Choctaw Casino Resort. Contest may change or terminate at any time at the discretion of management. \n Alternate lists may be utilized: \n\nPlayers must be at their assigned table fifteen (15) minutes prior to the start of the round.\nFive (5) minutes before the start of the round an alternate player may be selected to play in that round.\nIf the assigned Player to that table arrives on time\, the alternate will have their entry put back in the hopper.\n\n Dealer Procedures for Blackjack Tournaments \nDealer Button \nThe position of the Dealer button will be randomly selected as follows: \nThe Dealer will turn the burn card face up and determine the position of the button using the value of the card and go clockwise around the layout starting at seat one. \nThe Dealer will place the chip that is numbered one (1) on top of the Dealer button. \nAfter each hand is completed\, the button will move one position (betting circle) to the right\, and the Dealer will place the numbered chip that corresponds with that hand on top of the Dealer button. \nAfter the 15th hand The Dealer button will not move\, and the Dealer will announce “chip count”. \nThe Dealer and the Tournament Official will do one chip count of each player’s chips. \nOnce the chip count is complete\, the Dealer will move the Dealer button and place the chip numbered sixteen (16) on top of the button. \nThe Dealer will continue to move the button and place the chip that is numbered on top of the button until the rounds are complete. \nCard Delivery \nThe Dealer will deliver the first card to the button then to all other betting spots and delivers the Dealer’s card last. \nHit sequence: Action always starts with the player who has the button and continues until all players have acted. Once all the players have acted\, the Dealer will then play out their hand and begin the pay take sequence according to standard Blackjack procedures. \nRounds \nA total of 21 hands will be dealt on each table. \nOn the 15th hand\, the Dealer will verify and count down each player’s chips to determine the table’s chip leader. \nThe betting limit for 18 of the hands will be $25 to $500. \nOn the final 3 hands\, the players will have the option to bet a minimum of $25 with no maximum limit. \nTournament Chips \n\n$500 chips (purple).\n$100 chips (black).\n$25 chips (green).\n\n  \nSemi/Final Tournament\nHeld at Grant 9/14/2025\n 2 rounds @ 2pm and 3pm \n3 tables \n7/table \nTop 2/table advance to semi \nSemifinal \n5pm \n2 tables \n6/table \nTop 3 advance to final \nFinal \nImmediately after Semifinal \n6 guests \n1st Place- $25\,000 Cash \n2nd Place- $10\,000 Cash \n3rd Place- $7\,500 Cash \n4th Place- $4\,000 Cash \n5th Place- $2\,500 Cash \n6th Place- $1\,000 Cash \n  \nSeptember 12th & 13th in the Grant Pit \nAny player that receives a Suited Blackjack or Straight or Better on any carnival game will receive a entry into the hopper for the tournament on September 14th. Any guest that is not on property and available for their scheduled round will be filled with an alternate. \n****This does not include the final table. See below for final table Wild Card. \nSeptember 13th Registration Event \nApps and cocktails for all winners and one guest that received a seat in the Final Tournament at Grant Resort. Winners will receive a punch card for extra tournament chips. Each suited blackjack will earn a punch and $500 in extra tournament chips. \n  \nCalls for Dealer Errors \nTournament decisions for Dealer errors will be made with all fairness to the game. The following decisions will be utilized for these common scenarios made by a Dealer error. \n\nExposing the Dealer’s hand and hit it before action is complete.\nThe hit card will not be backed up or come into play. The exposed card will be burned\, and the action will be completed.\nThe Dealer did not deal themselves a hole card and action started.\nAction will be completed (i.e. hit sequence) and the Dealer will receive a hole card and complete their hand last.\nAny cards that are dealt out of order will constitute a misdeal and the hand will start over including the placement of player’s bets.
