The mobile app cannot be used.\n\n\nOfficial rules:\nThe Rules of Play \n\nBy participating in the tournament players agree to the rules brought forth by Paragon Casino Resort\n\n\nPlayers will pay entry fee and re-buy fees at the cashier’s cage.\nPlayers will bring the yellow ticket from the cashier to the tournament area.\n\n\nAll Paragon blackjack rules apply to the tournament play with the following exception:\n\nBlackjack pay 2 to 1\nAces can be split 3 times to make 4 hands\n\n\nRegistration will be Friday November 7\, 2025 from 5PM to 8PM and Saturday November 8\, 2025 until the end of the Preliminary Rounds (tournament area will open at 10AM)\n\nFriday entry fee will be $125\nSaturday entry fee will be $150\n\n\nShould the player not advance in a previous preliminary round they have the option to re-buy.  There are two ways to re-buy back into the tournament\n\nPay $100 at the cashier booth.\n\n\nPlayers can earn a free buy-in and free re-buys by playing any table games from August 1\, 2025 thru October 31\, 2025\n\nPlay 50 hours and get – A free buy in\nPlay 75 hours and get – A free buy in and 1 re-buy\nPlay 100 hours and get – A free buy in and 2 re-buys\nPlay 125 hours and get – A free buy in and 3 re-buys\n\n\nRe-buys are open until 5PM or when any round falls below 3 players\, subject to availability.\nOne Wild Card entry slip will be deposited into the Wild Card Entry drum for initial buy-in and an additional Wild Card Entry slip will be deposited for each re-buy.  Wild Cards drawn from the drum and either claimed or not claimed will be re-deposited into the drum.\nAll participants must arrive at the tournament area at least 10 minutes before the beginning of their assigned time to play.  All participants must check-in at their assigned table and seat.  Late (after round has begun play)\, participants will be penalized $100 in non-value tournament chips for every hand missed.   After the completion of the third (3rd) hand\, if the absent player has not been seated they shall be disqualified for that round.\nEach participant will receive $2\,500 in non-value tournament chips in every specific round.\nFor an extra $10 dealer appreciation fee\, the participant can receive an additional $500 in non-value tournament chips.  The dealer appreciation buy-in will be offered in every round except for the final round.\nNon-value tournament chips are not to be taken from the table.\nAll rounds will consist of:\n\n20 hands of blackjack\n Minimum bet of $25 and a maximum bet of $500.\n\nExcept:\n\nFinal round will be 25 hands and a maximum bet of $1\,000\nWild Card round which will be 15 hands.\n\n\n\n\nAll bets will be in $25 increments.\nThe dealer and/or tournament staff will make a countdown at hand 16 and again at hand 20 and on the final table at hand 20 and 25.\n\n\nThe tournament will be dealt from an eight-deck shoe.\nOnly one cut card will be used.  The dealer deals to the bottom of the 8-deck shoe\, if cards run out during a hand\, the dealer will shuffle the discarded cards to finish the hand.\nParticipants must play every hand.\nIf a participant is unable to bet the minimum $25 bet\, then that participant will be disqualified.\nIn the event of a tie\, each participant involved will receive $500 in chips\, the dealer will deal the next two cards from the shoe – the highest card position will determine the first player to act\, and there will be a five-hand playoff.  This will continue until a winner is determined.\nAll bets will be made left to right from the dealer button.  Participants are not allowed to change or alter any bet after it is placed in the betting area\, this includes when participants bet out of order.\nPlayers must be ready to bet when it is their turn.  There will be no more than thirty (30) seconds to place a bet and act on a hand.\nOnce a bet has been made\, it cannot be changed.\n\nNo string betting is permitted.  Bets must be slid into the circle\, highest denomination chip on the bottom to the lowest denomination chip on top.  If a player string bets\, the first chip to hit the felt inside the betting circle will be the player’s bet.\n\n\nBlackjack pays 2 to 1.\n\nIf the dealer also has a blackjack the players bet is a push.\nIf the dealer has an Ace up there is no insurance or even money offered.\n\n\nPlayers may split same -value cards\, including Aces\, up to four hands.\nDouble downs on splits are allowed except on split Aces which will get only one card each.\nSurrender\, insurance and even money are not offered for tournament play.\nOnly one wagering position per player.\nThe dealer button will determine where the dealer begins. For the first hand of the round a die will be rolled to determine what seat will get the dealer button.\nEnglish is the official language of this tournament.  Players may speak only English during play.  No spectator may speak in a language other than English.\nTournament chips must remain in front of the participants\, separated by denomination and in the view of all other participants at that table.\nTournament players are not permitted to use any aids such as calculators\, writing on paper\, or writing on back of a hand\, etc.\nIn the event of a misdeal\, all hands will be declared dead.  The dealer will remove all cards and deal a new hand without moving the dealer button.\nConversing with spectators may be a cause for disqualification.  Spectators who interfere with the game or aid the players may be asked to leave the tournament area.\nParagon Casino Resort reserves the right to accept or deny any entry into the tournament.\nIf a participant should leave the table in the middle of a round\, they will be disqualified.\nParagon Casino Resort may limit the number of entries into the tournament.\nTournament times are approximate.  Paragon Casino Resort reserves the right to change tournament times.  \nParagon Casino Resort may disqualify any person for any prize based on fraud\, dishonesty\, violation of promotional rules or other misconduct whether or not related to the tournament.\nParagon Casino Resort may cancel\, modify\, relocate or reschedule the tournament(s) for any reason with prior approval by and/or notification to the appropriate gaming regulators.\nBy participating in the tournament entrants agree to the rules brought forth by Paragon Casino Resort\nValue chips will not be used for tournament play.\nAll decisions regarding the interpretation of rules\, eligibility\, etc. for the tournament lies solely with the management of Paragon Casino Resort.  Management decisions are final.\nAll winnings will be rounded off and paid in chips after the final round.\nWinners agree to grant Paragon Casino Resort permission to use their name and image for advertising and promotions.\nThis tournament is subject to change or modification at any time and the interpretation of the rules\, eligibility\, and prize distribution is at the sole discretion of Paragon Casino Resort.  \nParagon Casino Resort Management will resolve any dispute or situation not covered by the official rules. \nParagon Casino Resort reserves the right to cancel\, change or modify the tournament at any time\, for any reason\, subject to all applicable regulatory approval\, provided that such modification shall not\, as of the date of such modifications\, materially alter or change any participant’s prize already awarded.\nIf the tournament should be cancelled for any reason\, all entry fees will be returned to the registrant.\nAll rounds are depending on player participation.\nWild Cards drawing may take place to fill a table or session.\nPrize(s) \n\n1st Place – 48%\n2nd Place – 18%\n3rd Place – 10%\n4th Place – 9%\n5th Place – 8%\n6th Place – 7%\n\n\n\n\nMust be a member of Paragon Casino Player’s Club.\n\n\nPay $125 on Friday November 7\,2024 from 5PM to 8PM or $150 Saturday November 8\,2025 by the end of the Preliminary Rounds or\, earn a free entry by having logged a minimum of 50 hours of Table Games play from August 1\,2025 thru October 31\,2025.\n\n\nPreliminary round starts at 11AM Saturday November 8th\nQuarter-Final Round starts at 11AM Sunday November 9th\n\n\nMust be a member of Paragon Casino Player’s Club.\n\n\nThe following will be the progression to the final table:\n\nPreliminary Rounds\n\nThe first Preliminary session will start at 11AM Saturday November 8\,2023. This will determine who plays in the Final table seats one thru five\nBefore the start of the Final Round there will be a Wild Card Table where 6 players will play a 15-hand round.
