The Rules of Play\n\nBy participating in the tournament players agree to the rules brought forth by Paragon Casino Resort\nPlayers will pay entry fee and re-buy fees at the cashier’s cage.\nPlayers will bring the yellow ticket from the cashier to the tournament area.\nAll Paragon blackjack rules apply to the tournament play with the following exception:\n\nBlackjack pay 2 to 1\nAces can be split 3 times to make 4 hands\n\n\n\n\nRegistration will be Friday March 6\, 2026 from 5PM to 7:30 PM and Saturday March 7\, 2026 until the end of the Preliminary Rounds (tournament area will open at 10AM)\n\nFriday entry fee will be $125\nSaturday entry fee will be $150\n\n\nShould the player not advance in a previous preliminary round they have the option to re-buy.  There are two ways to re-buy back into the tournament\n\nPay $100 at the cashier booth.\n\n\nPlayers can earn a free buy-in and free re-buys by playing any table games from December 1\,2025 thru Feb 28\, 2026\n\nPlay 50 hours and get – A free buy in\nPlay 75 hours and get – A free buy in and 1 re-buy\nPlay 100 hours and get – A free buy in and 2 re-buys\nPlay 125 hours and get – A free buy in and 3 re-buys\n\n\nRe-buys are open until 6PM or when any round falls below 5 players\, subject to availability.\nOne Wild Card entry slip will be deposited into the Wild Card Entry drum for initial buy-in and an additional Wild Card Entry slip will be deposited for each re-buy.  Wild Cards drawn from the drum and either claimed or not claimed will be re-deposited into the drum.\nAll participants must arrive at the tournament area at least 10 minutes before the beginning of their assigned time to play.  All participants must check-in at their assigned table and seat.  Late (after round has begun play)\, participants will be penalized $100 in non-value tournament chips for every hand missed.   After the completion of the third (3rd) hand\, if the absent player has not been seated they shall be disqualified for that round.\nEach participant will receive $2\,500 in non-value tournament chips in every specific round.\nFor an extra $10 dealer appreciation fee\, the participant can receive an additional $500 in non-value tournament chips.  The dealer appreciation buy-in will be offered in every round except for the final round.\nNon-value tournament chips are not to be taken from the table.\nAll rounds will consist of:\n\n20 hands of blackjack\n Minimum bet of $25 and a maximum bet of $500.\n\nExcept:\n\nFinal round will be 25 hands and a maximum bet of $1\,000\nWild Card round which will be 15 hands.\n\n\n\n\nAll bets will be in $25 increments.\n\n\nThe dealer and/or tournament staff will make a countdown after hand 9 and again after hand 19.\nFor the final table a count will be done after hand 11 and after hand 24.\nFor the Wild card table\, a count will be done after hand 6 and after hand 14.\nThe tournament will be dealt from an eight-deck shoe.\nOnly one cut card will be used.  The dealer deals to the bottom of the 8-deck shoe\, if cards run out during a hand\, the dealer will shuffle the discarded cards to finish the hand.\nParticipants must play every hand.\nIf a participant is unable to bet the minimum $25 bet\, then that participant will be disqualified.\nIn the event of a tie\, each participant involved will receive $500 in chips\, the dealer will deal the next two cards from the shoe – the highest card position will determine the first player to act\, and there will be a five-hand playoff.  This will continue until a winner is determined.\nAll bets will be made left to right from the dealer button.  Participants are not allowed to change or alter any bet after it is placed in the betting area\, this includes when participants bet out of order.\nPlayers must be ready to bet when it is their turn.  There will be no more than thirty (30) seconds to place a bet and act on a hand.\nOnce a bet has been made\, it cannot be changed.\n\nNo string betting is permitted.  Bets must be slid into the circle\, highest denomination chip on the bottom to the lowest denomination chip on top.  If a player string bets\, the first chip to hit the felt inside the betting circle will be the player’s bet.\n\n\nBlackjack pays 2 to 1.\n\nIf the dealer also has a blackjack the players bet is a push.\nIf the dealer has an Ace up there is no insurance or even money offered.\n\n\nPlayers may split same -value cards\, including Aces\, up to four hands.\nDouble downs on splits are allowed except on split Aces which will get only one card each.\nSurrender\, insurance and even money are not offered for tournament play.\nOnly one wagering position per player.\nThe dealer button will determine where the dealer begins. DESCRIPTION:  \nBLACKJACK FREEROLL QUALIFIER EVENTS\nDATES\nMARCH 1st\, 8th\, 15th\, 22nd & 29th\nAPRIL 12th\, 19th & 26th\nMAY 3rd\, 10th & 17th\n(No Tournaments April 5th and May 24th)\n\nENTRY\nEntry is free. Player must have a player’s reward card. Players are allowed one $20 add-on for an extra $2\,100 in tournament chips. The add-on must be purchased at time of registration.\nSCHEDULE\nQUALIFYING ROUNDS – 4\, 5\, 6 & 7PM\n4 tables – 28 players max per round (7/table). Minimum 4 players/table.\nEach table winner moves on & the 3 highest chip totals from that round that didn’t win their table.\nSEMI-FINAL ROUND – 8PM\nSemi-finals consist of 28 entries. The 4 semi-final table winners and the 3 top scores at the end of regulation that didn’t win move on. These additional hands will be counted each hand. All other ties will be settled by dividing the winning place money of those positions tied.\n\n\nRotating button used to signify order of dealing and betting. Button moves one position after each hand. Once everybody is seated starting button position will be determined by dealing out high card.\n\n\nAfter a bet is placed it cannot be changed.\n\n\nAny player missing the first hand of the round will be disqualified.\n\n\nAll players must keep their chips separated by denomination and in full view of all other players.\n\n\nNo coaching allowed. One player per hand.\n\n\nRunning Aces house rules prevail\, except blackjack pays 2 to 1 – No surrender.\n\n\nPlayers may only play one qualifying round per day. Players must be a member of the Aces Rewards Program.\n\n\nIf a player is incorrectly paid and if the error is reported by a player or noticed by the dealer prior to the start of the next hand being dealt it shall be corrected immediately. Errors discovered after the next hand starts will not be corrected.\n\n\nAll players must be 18 yrs of age or older.\n\n\nRunning Aces reserves the right to refuse tournament entry to anyone\, to change or to cancel the tournament for any reason\, at which time any fees will promptly be refunded.\n\n\nAll disputes settled by tournament officials are final.\n\n\nRegistration opens up at 3pm the day of the tournament.\n\n\nRegistration closes for each qualifying round 15 minutes prior to the start of that qualifying round.\n\n\nSemi-final and Final round table and seats will be determined by selecting a seat card out of a drum.\n\n\nSee Official rules on day of tournament.\n\n\nDISCLAIMER: Registration will begin at 3pm at the cashier for the first 112 players to register. No alternates are allowed. Players can only register once per day. Players must have their player card and valid photo ID to register. Tournament Qualifying rounds will be hourly from 4pm-7pm; Semi-finals begin at 8pm; Finals begin at 9pm. Tournament entry is free. Registering players are allowed one $20 add-on for an extra $2\,100 in tournament chips. Add-on must be purchased at time of registration. Tournaments every Sunday starting March 1st through May 17th. No tournaments April 5th & May 24th. Tournament of Champions Sunday\, May 31st. Tournament of Champions will consist of the four (4) highest non-advancing chip total Semi-Final players and all seven (7) Finals players of each tournament week. Each player advancing to the Tournament of Champions will receive a Tournament of Champions Invite and the invite will state the seat assignment and time of TOC qualifier. Players can only hold one (1) TOC invite. Your participation in these events gives permission for Running Aces to use your name and/or likeness in promotional material. All guests of Running Aces are eligible to participate in these promotions.
