This is intentional so that each entry contains the correct venue name\, location\, and contact information for the respective casino and on the correct dates of play. \nTo help avoid confusion\, date listings for this tournament span from the first remaining (as of this date\, August 9\, 2025)\, qualifying event through the final weekend of play\, which includes the championship round. Please review the body of these rules carefully to determine the actual dates of play\, as they differ between the two participating Choctaw properties. \nThis event offers multiple qualifying rounds at both:\n• Choctaw Landing Casino\n• Choctaw Casino – Grant\, OK \nIMPORTANT: The qualifying round rules differ between these two properties. The tournament rules were provided via correspondence with Choctaw Landing Casino and they are\, to the best of our knowledge accurate for both above properties.  We have made minor edits\, only for clarifications. They appear to cover well\, both locations where qualifying events will be held. \nThe rules seem to address most questions you may have. If you need clarification\, it is strongly recommended that you contact the casino directly. \n2025 Choctaw Casinos Regional Blackjack Tournament\nBlackjack Tournament Rules\n1)  Each entrant receives $3\,000 in tournament chips. \n2)  Table bet is $25 minimum/$500 maximum except for the last 3 hands (19\, 20\, 21). The final hand is $25 minimum/no maximum. \n3)  Seat positions will be assigned by a drawing at the table. These assignments can only be changed by Tournament Officials. \n4)  Tournament Officials will\, when possible\, see that each table has an equal number of players. \n5)  Decks are cut by a guest playing in the tournament. \n6)  Each tournament round will consist of exactly 21 hands being dealt. \n7)  The “dealer” button will advance one position with each hand. \n8)  Advancers and winners of each round will be determined upon completion of the 21st hand. \n9)  Following hand number 15\, all player chips will be counted by a tournament official and announced to all other players. \n10) Players have up to approximately 30 seconds to place their bets and act upon their hands. Violation of the allotted time may result in an elimination. \n11) A blackjack is paid 2-to-1\, unless the dealer also shows blackjack. \n12) No insurance is offered\, including even money. \n13) Players must place their own wagers and play every hand in the order in which they are dealt. \n14) Players who motion to\, over\, or place chips in the betting spot must wager what is in their hand. Failure to do so invalidates your entry. \n22) To voluntarily withdraw from the tournament before play is complete\, ask your dealer to call a Tournament Official over before leaving the table. \n23) Guests or spectators are not allowed to sit at tournament tables\, comment on play\, or otherwise cause disruption to the tournament. \n24) Tournament Officials have a final ruling in any misdealt hand or questionable situation and will always try to act in a fair and equitable manner. \n25) Players are not allowed to discuss betting strategy with anyone during play. \n26) Players are not allowed to use signals to other players or use mechanical\, electronic or written aids of any kind. \n27) English is the only language allowed during tournament play. \n28) No smoking\, drinking or eating is permitted at the table during tournament play. \n29) Tournament Officials can eliminate any player if they commit a violation of the tournament or house rules including but not limited to offensive behavior to other players\, dealers or Tournament Officials. Expelled players automatically forfeit their chips. \n30) Dealer tips are allowed\, but not with tournament chips. \n31) Guests must provide a valid photo I.D. to confirm their winning tournament play. \n32) The winner is responsible for all applicable taxes. An IRS Form W2-G will be prepared and presented to each recipient of $5\,000 or more. \n33) Interpretation of rules\, eligibility\, etc.\, is at the sole discretion of Grant Choctaw Casino Resort. Contest may change or terminate at any time at the discretion of management. \n Alternate lists may be utilized: \n\nPlayers must be at their assigned table fifteen (15) minutes prior to the start of the round.\nFive (5) minutes before the start of the round an alternate player may be selected to play in that round.\nIf the assigned Player to that table arrives on time\, the alternate will have their entry put back in the hopper.\n\n Dealer Procedures for Blackjack Tournaments \nDealer Button \nThe position of the Dealer button will be randomly selected as follows: \nThe Dealer will turn the burn card face up and determine the position of the button using the value of the card and go clockwise around the layout starting at seat one. \nThe Dealer will place the chip that is numbered one (1) on top of the Dealer button. \nAfter each hand is completed\, the button will move one position (betting circle) to the right\, and the Dealer will place the numbered chip that corresponds with that hand on top of the Dealer button. \nAfter the 15th hand The Dealer button will not move\, and the Dealer will announce “chip count”. \nThe Dealer and the Tournament Official will do one chip count of each player’s chips. \nOnce the chip count is complete\, the Dealer will move the Dealer button and place the chip numbered sixteen (16) on top of the button. \nThe Dealer will continue to move the button and place the chip that is numbered on top of the button until the rounds are complete. \nCard Delivery \nThe Dealer will deliver the first card to the button then to all other betting spots and delivers the Dealer’s card last. \nHit sequence: Action always starts with the player who has the button and continues until all players have acted. Each suited blackjack will earn a punch and $500 in extra tournament chips. \nCalls for Dealer Errors \nTournament decisions for Dealer errors will be made with all fairness to the game. The following decisions will be utilized for these common scenarios made by a Dealer error. \n\nExposing the Dealer’s hand and hit it before action is complete.\nThe hit card will not be backed up or come into play. The exposed card will be burned\, and the action will be completed.\nThe Dealer did not deal themselves a hole card and action started.\nAction will be completed (i.e. hit sequence) and the Dealer will receive a hole card and complete their hand last.\nAny cards that are dealt out of order will constitute a misdeal and the hand will start over including the placement of player’s bets.

DESCRIPTION:Hard Rock Biloxi has been very supportive of the Blackjack Tournament player community –  Thank you for your support of Hard Rock Biloxi and many thanks to Hard Rock management and staff for their ongoing support of Open Blackjack Tournaments! \n(Accuracy of contents not guaranteed) \nSpecial note: The popular weekly tournament event was resumed on February 4\, 2025.  The last weekly event of this series will be held on August 26\, 2025. \n4:00 PM buy-in time  and 4:30 start time for the first round play.  \nGuaranteed prize pool of $500-With total of buy-ins as the final prize pool. Note: So far these weekly events have been well attended and growing therefore they have paid $1\,000 to $1\,400+ for 1st and $500 to $700+ for 2nd place. \nWeekly Blackjack Tournaments  \nHard Rock Casino Biloxi will host a Blackjack tournament weekly starting February 4\, 2025. \nThese tournaments will be weekly every Tuesday. \nThe tournament will consist of preliminary sessions\, re-buy sessions\, possible quarter final\, semi-final\, a wild card table\, and final table. \nPlayers will gain entry into the tournament via a $20.00 entrance fee. There will be NO “free entries”. Registration will begin at 2:00pm with rounds starting at 2:30pm. Any player who does not progress through their preliminary session will be afforded the opportunity to purchase entry into the re-buy sessions. The associated fee for the re-buy session is $20.00 USD.  Each player can re-buy as many times as they would like until the end of the re-buy rounds (the last preliminary round at 6:30pm). \nHard Rock Casino Biloxi guarantees a prize pool of at least $500 however\, the entire amount from preliminary buy-ins and rebuys for tournament event will be awarded. Any collected fees will be added together for a total and divided amongst the finalist on the final table. \n50% to 1st place \n25% to 2nd place \n5% to the remaining 5 positions (3rd – 7th). \nA drawing will be held prior to the Semi Final Round to fill any vacant seats. This drawing will be done from the Re-Buy entries only. NO preliminary entries will be drawn for this drawing. Note: if a player is already playing in the Semi Final Round\, they will not qualify for a second seat and another player will be drawn. \nA wildcard drawing will be held prior to the final round from the pool of players who have participated in the tournament. Only the original entry ticket will be placed in the drum. NO re-buy tickets will qualify for this drawing. Players drawn from the wild-card pool will be awarded a seat on the Wild Card table.  Note:  If a player who has already advanced to the final round is drawn during the wildcard drawing\, said player’s ticket will be removed from the drawing drum and another draw will be conducted.  Tickets drawn from the wild-card drum will be announced across the floor and in the tournament area via loudspeaker.  Each ticket drawn will be valid for three minutes for a player to claim.  If no player makes claim to a drawn voucher within the allotted time\, a new ticket will be drawn from the wild-card drum.  Once a new ticket has been drawn\, previous tickets drawn will be void. \nPreliminary Rounds will begin at 2:30pm and continue until 6:30pm. Rebuy tables will be available as soon as players start buying in with Rebuys. If a Quarter Final is needed\, we will have positions available at ??:?? pm and ??:?? pm. Depending on whether we need a quarter final or not will determine the time of the Semi Final\, Wild Card Table\, and Final Table. \nThe format for all play during the tournament is as follows: \nPlayers will start each session with $10\,000.00 in non-value tournament chips. \n(12) Twelve hands will be dealt in each Session. \nPrior to the first hand on each round\, the dealer will give each player one card from the shoe.  The first player to receive the highest card (Ace being highest)\, will have their position marked with the lamer signifying the “1st Play rotates from left to right starting with the “1st spot\, which is represented by a numbered marker which will move in a left to right order after each hand played. Once the lamer has been moved to the last spot on the table\, the dealer will move the lamer to the first position and continue moving from left to right after each hand.  This button will be numbered to represent the current hand being played (i.e.\, 1 – 12). \nAll players must wager a minimum of $100 each hand. There is no maximum bet. \nEach player\, in turn\, will make a wager. Once a player’s wager is placed in the betting circle\, it may not be changed until the hand is over. A player’s entire bet must be placed in the betting area at once\, no “string betting” (placing one chip in the betting circle at a time) will be allowed. A player may place a wager before it is their turn\, but the wager may not be changed after it is set. \nAll wagers will be made in a timely manner\, if there is too long of a delay in wagering the dealer will announce to the player that they have 15 seconds to place a wager. If the player does not comply\, they will receive the minimum bet and play will continue. \nAny player not seated when the round starts will have the minimum wager removed from their chip stack and returned to the rack. After (3) three hands missed a player will be considered as forfeiting their spot and their bankroll will be collected into the rack. Players absent may request a player position in a later round pending availability. \nAt the end of the 10th hand all players chips will be counted and their total announced so that all players at the table can hear and see each player’s total at that point. \nAfter the 12th hand\, all players still in play will have their chips counted by the dealer and their total announced the highest total will advance to the next round. 1 winner per table\, per round. \nIf a player’s wager exceeds what is available to pay from the rack the Floor Supervisor will purchase the chips back from the player using a lamer(s) representing the amount of chips being exchanged.  The Floor Supervisor will place the lamer(s) in front of the player offering the exchange\, and the dealer will run down the chips and place them in the rack after the Floor Supervisor has verified the correct amount.  The lamer(s) in possession of the player must be separated from the player’s non-value gaming chips and must be in clear view at all times.  The Floor Supervisor will retain all lamer (s) not in possession of a player. \nIf multiple players have the same chip count and there is only one spot for advancement there will be a (3) three hand play off. If there is still a tie the players will cut one card from a single facedown deck and the highest card drawn will advance\, ace being high. \nIf a dealer fails to move the “1st spot” marker or fails to change the hand marker and the error is discovered after cards are dealt\, but before any hand has been acted upon\, the hand will be declared a dead hand. No wagers will be collected or paid\, and the hand marker will be advanced to the correct spot and/or changed to signify the correct hand number. A new round of wagers will begin\, and the new hand will be dealt. There will not be a shuffle prior to continuing. Once the first player’s hand has been acted upon\, the hand will be considered valid\, and play will continue. After the completion of the hand\, the marker will move to the next player position and the correct hand number will be represented. \nThere will be no smoking\, eating\, or drinking at the table during tournament play. \nPlayers must keep their hands in plain sight at all times\, while the tournament is in progress. All chips must be stacked by denomination and be in full view of casino personnel and other players.   Chips must never be removed from the surface of the table doing so will be grounds for disqualification. \nCollusion among players or help from spectators is prohibited and will result in disqualification. The official language of the tournament is English.  No conversations in any other language are permitted during tournament play.  No communication\, either verbal or visual\, will be permitted between player and spectator.  Violation of these rules will result in disqualification from the tournament. \nNo written\, mechanical\, or electronic aids are allowed during tournament play. \nCase money wagers can be made for double downs below the table minimum\, however the initial bet must be at the table minimum. Players lacking sufficient non-value tournament chips to make a minimum bet will be considered finished for the session. \nIt is the player’s responsibility to communicate his/her desired action with the dealer. \nDealers may pay bets in any denomination they deem appropriate. \nNo toke bets are allowed for the dealers with tournament chips during play. \nAll protests must be handled at the table before players leave the table. \nA player is eliminated from play for violation of any of the tournament rules\, cheating\, or disorderly conduct. No fee will be returned. \nPlayers may voluntarily withdraw from the tournament. \nAny player disputes will be handled by the tournament supervisor and his/her decision will be final. \nBlackjack pays 2-1\, insurance will not be offered. \nDealer will hit on soft 17; all other Hard Rock Biloxi Blackjack rules will apply. \nVendors or immediate family of a vendor who provide promotional items for tournaments\, promotions or drawings are prohibited from participation in that activity. \nHard Rock employees and their immediate family members are eligible for membership in the Hard Rock Biloxi’s Encore Players Club and are eligible to receive complimentary based on play but are not permitted to participate in drawings\, promotions\, tournaments\, or giveaways without prior written notification to MGC. \nParties determined to be ineligible will forfeit any prize monies awarded; the forfeited funds will be split evenly among the remaining winners\, excluding the grand prizewinner. \nThe Mississippi Gaming Commission reserves the right to investigate any and all complaints and disputes regarding tournaments\, promotions\, and drawings. DESCRIPTION:Hard Rock Biloxi has been very supportive of the Blackjack Tournament player community –  Thank you for your support of Hard Rock Biloxi and many thanks to Hard Rock management and staff for their ongoing support of Open Blackjack Tournaments! \n(Accuracy of contents not guaranteed) \nSpecial note: The popular weekly tournament event was resumed on February 4\, 2025.  The last weekly event of this series will be held on August 26\, 2025. \n4:00 PM buy-in time  and 4:30 start time for the first round play.  \nGuaranteed prize pool of $500-With total of buy-ins as the final prize pool. Note: So far these weekly events have been well attended and growing therefore they have paid $1\,000 to $1\,400+ for 1st and $500 to $700+ for 2nd place. \nWeekly Blackjack Tournaments  \nHard Rock Casino Biloxi will host a Blackjack tournament weekly starting February 4\, 2025. \nThese tournaments will be weekly every Tuesday. \nThe tournament will consist of preliminary sessions\, re-buy sessions\, possible quarter final\, semi-final\, a wild card table\, and final table. \nPlayers will gain entry into the tournament via a $20.00 entrance fee. There will be NO “free entries”. Registration will begin at 2:00pm with rounds starting at 2:30pm. Any player who does not progress through their preliminary session will be afforded the opportunity to purchase entry into the re-buy sessions. The associated fee for the re-buy session is $20.00 USD.  Each player can re-buy as many times as they would like until the end of the re-buy rounds (the last preliminary round at 6:30pm). \nHard Rock Casino Biloxi guarantees a prize pool of at least $500 however\, the entire amount from preliminary buy-ins and rebuys for tournament event will be awarded. Any collected fees will be added together for a total and divided amongst the finalist on the final table. \n50% to 1st place \n25% to 2nd place \n5% to the remaining 5 positions (3rd – 7th). \nA drawing will be held prior to the Semi Final Round to fill any vacant seats. This drawing will be done from the Re-Buy entries only. NO preliminary entries will be drawn for this drawing. Note: if a player is already playing in the Semi Final Round\, they will not qualify for a second seat and another player will be drawn. \nA wildcard drawing will be held prior to the final round from the pool of players who have participated in the tournament. Only the original entry ticket will be placed in the drum. NO re-buy tickets will qualify for this drawing. Players drawn from the wild-card pool will be awarded a seat on the Wild Card table.  Note:  If a player who has already advanced to the final round is drawn during the wildcard drawing\, said player’s ticket will be removed from the drawing drum and another draw will be conducted.  Tickets drawn from the wild-card drum will be announced across the floor and in the tournament area via loudspeaker.  Each ticket drawn will be valid for three minutes for a player to claim.  If no player makes claim to a drawn voucher within the allotted time\, a new ticket will be drawn from the wild-card drum.  Once a new ticket has been drawn\, previous tickets drawn will be void. \nPreliminary Rounds will begin at 2:30pm and continue until 6:30pm. Rebuy tables will be available as soon as players start buying in with Rebuys. If a Quarter Final is needed\, we will have positions available at ??:?? pm and ??:?? pm. Depending on whether we need a quarter final or not will determine the time of the Semi Final\, Wild Card Table\, and Final Table. \nThe format for all play during the tournament is as follows: \nPlayers will start each session with $10\,000.00 in non-value tournament chips. \n(12) Twelve hands will be dealt in each Session. \nPrior to the first hand on each round\, the dealer will give each player one card from the shoe.  The first player to receive the highest card (Ace being highest)\, will have their position marked with the lamer signifying the “1st Play rotates from left to right starting with the “1st spot\, which is represented by a numbered marker which will move in a left to right order after each hand played. Once the lamer has been moved to the last spot on the table\, the dealer will move the lamer to the first position and continue moving from left to right after each hand.  This button will be numbered to represent the current hand being played (i.e.\, 1 – 12). \nAll players must wager a minimum of $100 each hand. There is no maximum bet. \nEach player\, in turn\, will make a wager. Once a player’s wager is placed in the betting circle\, it may not be changed until the hand is over. A player’s entire bet must be placed in the betting area at once\, no “string betting” (placing one chip in the betting circle at a time) will be allowed. A player may place a wager before it is their turn\, but the wager may not be changed after it is set. \nAll wagers will be made in a timely manner\, if there is too long of a delay in wagering the dealer will announce to the player that they have 15 seconds to place a wager. If the player does not comply\, they will receive the minimum bet and play will continue. \nAny player not seated when the round starts will have the minimum wager removed from their chip stack and returned to the rack. After (3) three hands missed a player will be considered as forfeiting their spot and their bankroll will be collected into the rack. Players absent may request a player position in a later round pending availability. \nAt the end of the 10th hand all players chips will be counted and their total announced so that all players at the table can hear and see each player’s total at that point. \nAfter the 12th hand\, all players still in play will have their chips counted by the dealer and their total announced the highest total will advance to the next round. 1 winner per table\, per round. \nIf a player’s wager exceeds what is available to pay from the rack the Floor Supervisor will purchase the chips back from the player using a lamer(s) representing the amount of chips being exchanged.  The Floor Supervisor will place the lamer(s) in front of the player offering the exchange\, and the dealer will run down the chips and place them in the rack after the Floor Supervisor has verified the correct amount.  The lamer(s) in possession of the player must be separated from the player’s non-value gaming chips and must be in clear view at all times.  The Floor Supervisor will retain all lamer (s) not in possession of a player. \nIf multiple players have the same chip count and there is only one spot for advancement there will be a (3) three hand play off. If there is still a tie the players will cut one card from a single facedown deck and the highest card drawn will advance\, ace being high. \nIf a dealer fails to move the “1st spot” marker or fails to change the hand marker and the error is discovered after cards are dealt\, but before any hand has been acted upon\, the hand will be declared a dead hand. No wagers will be collected or paid\, and the hand marker will be advanced to the correct spot and/or changed to signify the correct hand number. A new round of wagers will begin\, and the new hand will be dealt. There will not be a shuffle prior to continuing. Once the first player’s hand has been acted upon\, the hand will be considered valid\, and play will continue. After the completion of the hand\, the marker will move to the next player position and the correct hand number will be represented. \nThere will be no smoking\, eating\, or drinking at the table during tournament play. \nPlayers must keep their hands in plain sight at all times\, while the tournament is in progress. All chips must be stacked by denomination and be in full view of casino personnel and other players.   Chips must never be removed from the surface of the table doing so will be grounds for disqualification. \nCollusion among players or help from spectators is prohibited and will result in disqualification. The official language of the tournament is English.  No conversations in any other language are permitted during tournament play.  No communication\, either verbal or visual\, will be permitted between player and spectator.  Violation of these rules will result in disqualification from the tournament. \nNo written\, mechanical\, or electronic aids are allowed during tournament play. \nCase money wagers can be made for double downs below the table minimum\, however the initial bet must be at the table minimum. Players lacking sufficient non-value tournament chips to make a minimum bet will be considered finished for the session. \nIt is the player’s responsibility to communicate his/her desired action with the dealer. \nDealers may pay bets in any denomination they deem appropriate. \nNo toke bets are allowed for the dealers with tournament chips during play. \nAll protests must be handled at the table before players leave the table. \nA player is eliminated from play for violation of any of the tournament rules\, cheating\, or disorderly conduct. The tournament rules were provided via correspondence with Choctaw Landing Casino and they are\, to the best of our knowledge accurate for both above properties.  We have made minor edits\, only for clarifications. They appear to cover well\, both locations where qualifying events will be held. \nThe rules seem to address most questions you may have. If you need clarification\, it is strongly recommended that you contact the casino directly. \n2025 Choctaw Casinos Regional Blackjack Tournament\nBlackjack Tournament Rules\n1)  Each entrant receives $3\,000 in tournament chips. \n2)  Table bet is $25 minimum/$500 maximum except for the last 3 hands (19\, 20\, 21). The final hand is $25 minimum/no maximum. \n3)  Seat positions will be assigned by a drawing at the table. These assignments can only be changed by Tournament Officials. \n4)  Tournament Officials will\, when possible\, see that each table has an equal number of players. \n5)  Decks are cut by a guest playing in the tournament. \n6)  Each tournament round will consist of exactly 21 hands being dealt. \n7)  The “dealer” button will advance one position with each hand. \n8)  Advancers and winners of each round will be determined upon completion of the 21st hand. \n9)  Following hand number 15\, all player chips will be counted by a tournament official and announced to all other players. \n10) Players have up to approximately 30 seconds to place their bets and act upon their hands. (Unlimited rebuys per entrant).  The associated fee for the re-buy session is $100.00 USD per entry.\nHard Rock Casino Biloxi guarantees a prize pool of $25\,000 USD\, regardless of player participation. Once the lamer has been moved to the last spot on the table\, the dealer will move the lamer to the first position and continue moving from left to right after each hand.  This button will be numbered to represent the current hand being played (i.e. 1 – 12).\n\n\nAll players must wager a minimum of $100 each hand. There is no maximum bet.\n\n\nEach player\, in turn\, will make a wager. Once a player’s wager is placed in the betting circle\, it may not be changed until the hand is over. A player’s entire bet must be placed in the betting area at once\, no “string betting” (placing one chip in the betting circle at a time) will be allowed. A player may place a wager before it is their turn\, but the wager may not be changed after it is set.\n\n\nAll wagers will be made in a timely manner\, if there is too long of a delay in wagering the dealer will announce to the player that they have 15 seconds to place a wager. If the player does not comply\, they will receive the minimum bet and play will continue.\n\n\nAny player not seated when the round starts will have the minimum wager removed from their chip stack and returned to the rack. After (3) three hands missed a player will be considered as forfeiting their spot and their bankroll will be collected into the rack. Players absent may request a player position in a later round pending availability.\n\n\nAt the end of the 10th hand all players chips will be counted\, and their total announced so that all players at the table can hear and see each player’s total at that point.\n\n\nAfter the 12th hand\, all players still in play will have their chips counted by the dealer and their total announced. The player with the highest total will advance.\n\n\nIf a player’s wager exceeds what is available to pay from the rack the Floor Supervisor will purchase the chips back from the player using a lammer(s) representing the amount of chips being exchanged.  The Floor Supervisor will place the lammer(s) in front of the player offering the exchange\, and the dealer will run-down the chips and place them in the rack after the Floor Supervisor has verified the correct amount.  The lammer(s) in possession of the player must be separated from the player’s non-value gaming chips and must be in clear view at all times.  At no point will any lammer(s) be used to facilitate the payment of a wager.  All lammer(s) not in possession of a player will be retained by the Floor Supervisor.\n\n\nOn the final table if multiple players are simultaneously eliminated from play during the same hand\, said players will be considered tied and the prize pool for the eliminated positions will be divided equally among the tied players.\n\n\nSecret Bet – On the final hand (12th) in the Final Round\, each participant will make a secret bet. The secret bet will be written on a secret bet card and placed face down in front of them. Once each secret bet is placed the tournament supervisor will sign the secret bet card attesting that the bet is legible and meets the table requirements (table minimum and any amount as long as the participant has enough chips to cover the bet) “All In” is acceptable. Once each participant’s secret bet has been verified\, the secret bet cards will be revealed and chips equal to the secret bet amount will be placed in the betting area before the cards are dealt. If a player writes down a number that is more than the chips available to bet all chips will be placed in the betting circle.\n\n\nIf multiple players have the same chip count and there is only one spot for advancement there will be a (3) three hand play off. If there is still a tie the players will cut one card from a single facedown deck and the highest card drawn will advance\, ace being high.\n\n\nIf a dealer fails to move the “1st spot” marker or fails to change the hand marker and the error is discovered after cards are dealt\, but before any hand has been acted upon\, the hand will be declared a dead hand. No wagers will be collected or paid\, and the hand marker will be advanced to the correct spot and/or changed to signify the correct hand number. A new round of wagers will begin\, and the new hand will be dealt. There will not be a shuffle prior to continuing. Once the first player’s hand has been acted upon\, the hand will be considered valid\, and play will continue. This is intentional so that each entry contains the correct venue name\, location\, and contact information for the respective casino and on the correct dates of play. \nTo help avoid confusion\, date listings for this tournament span from the first remaining (as of this date\, August 9\, 2025)\, qualifying event through the final weekend of play\, which includes the championship round. Please review the body of these rules carefully to determine the actual dates of play\, as they differ between the two participating Choctaw properties. \nThis event offers multiple qualifying rounds at both:\n• Choctaw Landing Casino\n• Choctaw Casino – Grant\, OK \nIMPORTANT: The qualifying round rules differ between these two properties. The tournament rules were provided via correspondence with Choctaw Landing Casino and they are\, to the best of our knowledge accurate for both above properties.  We have made minor edits\, only for clarifications. They appear to cover well\, both locations where qualifying events will be held. \nThe rules seem to address most questions you may have. If you need clarification\, it is strongly recommended that you contact the casino directly. \n2025 Choctaw Casinos Regional Blackjack Tournament\nBlackjack Tournament Rules\n1)  Each entrant receives $3\,000 in tournament chips. \n2)  Table bet is $25 minimum/$500 maximum except for the last 3 hands (19\, 20\, 21). The final hand is $25 minimum/no maximum. \n3)  Seat positions will be assigned by a drawing at the table. These assignments can only be changed by Tournament Officials. \n4)  Tournament Officials will\, when possible\, see that each table has an equal number of players. \n5)  Decks are cut by a guest playing in the tournament. \n6)  Each tournament round will consist of exactly 21 hands being dealt. \n7)  The “dealer” button will advance one position with each hand. \n8)  Advancers and winners of each round will be determined upon completion of the 21st hand. \n9)  Following hand number 15\, all player chips will be counted by a tournament official and announced to all other players. \n10) Players have up to approximately 30 seconds to place their bets and act upon their hands. Violation of the allotted time may result in an elimination. \n11) A blackjack is paid 2-to-1\, unless the dealer also shows blackjack. \n12) No insurance is offered\, including even money. \n13) Players must place their own wagers and play every hand in the order in which they are dealt. \n14) Players who motion to\, over\, or place chips in the betting spot must wager what is in their hand. The player will not be allowed to remove or add any chips once they have made a motion to or placed the chips in the betting spot. \n15) Proper signals are required for all action. \n16) All players are required to be seated during tournament play. \n17) Dealers may pay winning wagers in any denomination of chips. \n18) All chips must always remain in full view of tournament officials. No player is allowed to hide or disguise the value or amount of tournament chips from other players. \n19) Tournament chips must remain in separate stacks according to color. \n20) Tournament chips cannot leave the tables and cannot be given to another player. \n21) At the end of each round\, players must remain seated until their chips have been verified. Guests must sign beside their total\, whereupon results cannot be changed or appealed. Failure to do so invalidates your entry. \n22) To voluntarily withdraw from the tournament before play is complete\, ask your dealer to call a Tournament Official over before leaving the table. \n23) Guests or spectators are not allowed to sit at tournament tables\, comment on play\, or otherwise cause disruption to the tournament. \n24) Tournament Officials have a final ruling in any misdealt hand or questionable situation and will always try to act in a fair and equitable manner. \n25) Players are not allowed to discuss betting strategy with anyone during play. \n26) Players are not allowed to use signals to other players or use mechanical\, electronic or written aids of any kind. \n27) English is the only language allowed during tournament play. \n28) No smoking\, drinking or eating is permitted at the table during tournament play. \n29) Tournament Officials can eliminate any player if they commit a violation of the tournament or house rules including but not limited to offensive behavior to other players\, dealers or Tournament Officials. Expelled players automatically forfeit their chips. \n30) Dealer tips are allowed\, but not with tournament chips. \n31) Guests must provide a valid photo I.D. to confirm their winning tournament play. \n32) The winner is responsible for all applicable taxes. An IRS Form W2-G will be prepared and presented to each recipient of $5\,000 or more. \n33) Interpretation of rules\, eligibility\, etc.\, is at the sole discretion of Grant Choctaw Casino Resort. Contest may change or terminate at any time at the discretion of management. \n Alternate lists may be utilized: \n\nPlayers must be at their assigned table fifteen (15) minutes prior to the start of the round.\nFive (5) minutes before the start of the round an alternate player may be selected to play in that round.\nIf the assigned Player to that table arrives on time\, the alternate will have their entry put back in the hopper.\n\n Dealer Procedures for Blackjack Tournaments \nDealer Button \nThe position of the Dealer button will be randomly selected as follows: \nThe Dealer will turn the burn card face up and determine the position of the button using the value of the card and go clockwise around the layout starting at seat one. \nThe Dealer will place the chip that is numbered one (1) on top of the Dealer button. \nAfter each hand is completed\, the button will move one position (betting circle) to the right\, and the Dealer will place the numbered chip that corresponds with that hand on top of the Dealer button. \nAfter the 15th hand The Dealer button will not move\, and the Dealer will announce “chip count”. \nThe Dealer and the Tournament Official will do one chip count of each player’s chips. \nOnce the chip count is complete\, the Dealer will move the Dealer button and place the chip numbered sixteen (16) on top of the button. \nThe Dealer will continue to move the button and place the chip that is numbered on top of the button until the rounds are complete. \nCard Delivery \nThe Dealer will deliver the first card to the button then to all other betting spots and delivers the Dealer’s card last. \nHit sequence: Action always starts with the player who has the button and continues until all players have acted. DESCRIPTION:Hard Rock Biloxi has been very supportive of the Blackjack Tournament player community –  Thank you for your support of Hard Rock Biloxi and many thanks to Hard Rock management and staff for their ongoing support of Open Blackjack Tournaments! \n(Accuracy of contents not guaranteed) \nSpecial note: The popular weekly tournament event was resumed on February 4\, 2025.  The last weekly event of this series will be held on August 26\, 2025. \n4:00 PM buy-in time  and 4:30 start time for the first round play.  \nGuaranteed prize pool of $500-With total of buy-ins as the final prize pool. Note: So far these weekly events have been well attended and growing therefore they have paid $1\,000 to $1\,400+ for 1st and $500 to $700+ for 2nd place. \nWeekly Blackjack Tournaments  \nHard Rock Casino Biloxi will host a Blackjack tournament weekly starting February 4\, 2025. \nThese tournaments will be weekly every Tuesday. \nThe tournament will consist of preliminary sessions\, re-buy sessions\, possible quarter final\, semi-final\, a wild card table\, and final table. \nPlayers will gain entry into the tournament via a $20.00 entrance fee. There will be NO “free entries”. Registration will begin at 2:00pm with rounds starting at 2:30pm. Any player who does not progress through their preliminary session will be afforded the opportunity to purchase entry into the re-buy sessions. The associated fee for the re-buy session is $20.00 USD.  Each player can re-buy as many times as they would like until the end of the re-buy rounds (the last preliminary round at 6:30pm). \nHard Rock Casino Biloxi guarantees a prize pool of at least $500 however\, the entire amount from preliminary buy-ins and rebuys for tournament event will be awarded. Any collected fees will be added together for a total and divided amongst the finalist on the final table. \n50% to 1st place \n25% to 2nd place \n5% to the remaining 5 positions (3rd – 7th). \nA drawing will be held prior to the Semi Final Round to fill any vacant seats. This drawing will be done from the Re-Buy entries only. NO preliminary entries will be drawn for this drawing. Note: if a player is already playing in the Semi Final Round\, they will not qualify for a second seat and another player will be drawn. \nA wildcard drawing will be held prior to the final round from the pool of players who have participated in the tournament. Only the original entry ticket will be placed in the drum. NO re-buy tickets will qualify for this drawing. Players drawn from the wild-card pool will be awarded a seat on the Wild Card table.  Note:  If a player who has already advanced to the final round is drawn during the wildcard drawing\, said player’s ticket will be removed from the drawing drum and another draw will be conducted.  Tickets drawn from the wild-card drum will be announced across the floor and in the tournament area via loudspeaker.  Each ticket drawn will be valid for three minutes for a player to claim.  If no player makes claim to a drawn voucher within the allotted time\, a new ticket will be drawn from the wild-card drum.  Once a new ticket has been drawn\, previous tickets drawn will be void. \nPreliminary Rounds will begin at 2:30pm and continue until 6:30pm. Rebuy tables will be available as soon as players start buying in with Rebuys. If a Quarter Final is needed\, we will have positions available at ??:?? pm and ??:?? pm. Depending on whether we need a quarter final or not will determine the time of the Semi Final\, Wild Card Table\, and Final Table. \nThe format for all play during the tournament is as follows: \nPlayers will start each session with $10\,000.00 in non-value tournament chips. \n(12) Twelve hands will be dealt in each Session. \nPrior to the first hand on each round\, the dealer will give each player one card from the shoe.  The first player to receive the highest card (Ace being highest)\, will have their position marked with the lamer signifying the “1st Play rotates from left to right starting with the “1st spot\, which is represented by a numbered marker which will move in a left to right order after each hand played. Once the lamer has been moved to the last spot on the table\, the dealer will move the lamer to the first position and continue moving from left to right after each hand.  This button will be numbered to represent the current hand being played (i.e.\, 1 – 12). \nAll players must wager a minimum of $100 each hand. There is no maximum bet. \nEach player\, in turn\, will make a wager. Once a player’s wager is placed in the betting circle\, it may not be changed until the hand is over. A player’s entire bet must be placed in the betting area at once\, no “string betting” (placing one chip in the betting circle at a time) will be allowed. A player may place a wager before it is their turn\, but the wager may not be changed after it is set. \nAll wagers will be made in a timely manner\, if there is too long of a delay in wagering the dealer will announce to the player that they have 15 seconds to place a wager. If the player does not comply\, they will receive the minimum bet and play will continue. \nAny player not seated when the round starts will have the minimum wager removed from their chip stack and returned to the rack. After (3) three hands missed a player will be considered as forfeiting their spot and their bankroll will be collected into the rack. Players absent may request a player position in a later round pending availability. \nAt the end of the 10th hand all players chips will be counted and their total announced so that all players at the table can hear and see each player’s total at that point. \nAfter the 12th hand\, all players still in play will have their chips counted by the dealer and their total announced the highest total will advance to the next round. 1 winner per table\, per round. \nIf a player’s wager exceeds what is available to pay from the rack the Floor Supervisor will purchase the chips back from the player using a lamer(s) representing the amount of chips being exchanged.  The Floor Supervisor will place the lamer(s) in front of the player offering the exchange\, and the dealer will run down the chips and place them in the rack after the Floor Supervisor has verified the correct amount.  The lamer(s) in possession of the player must be separated from the player’s non-value gaming chips and must be in clear view at all times.  The Floor Supervisor will retain all lamer (s) not in possession of a player. \nIf multiple players have the same chip count and there is only one spot for advancement there will be a (3) three hand play off. If there is still a tie the players will cut one card from a single facedown deck and the highest card drawn will advance\, ace being high. \nIf a dealer fails to move the “1st spot” marker or fails to change the hand marker and the error is discovered after cards are dealt\, but before any hand has been acted upon\, the hand will be declared a dead hand. No wagers will be collected or paid\, and the hand marker will be advanced to the correct spot and/or changed to signify the correct hand number. A new round of wagers will begin\, and the new hand will be dealt. There will not be a shuffle prior to continuing. Once the first player’s hand has been acted upon\, the hand will be considered valid\, and play will continue. After the completion of the hand\, the marker will move to the next player position and the correct hand number will be represented. \nThere will be no smoking\, eating\, or drinking at the table during tournament play. \nPlayers must keep their hands in plain sight at all times\, while the tournament is in progress. All chips must be stacked by denomination and be in full view of casino personnel and other players.   Chips must never be removed from the surface of the table doing so will be grounds for disqualification. \nCollusion among players or help from spectators is prohibited and will result in disqualification. The official language of the tournament is English.  No conversations in any other language are permitted during tournament play.  No communication\, either verbal or visual\, will be permitted between player and spectator.  Violation of these rules will result in disqualification from the tournament. \nNo written\, mechanical\, or electronic aids are allowed during tournament play. \nCase money wagers can be made for double downs below the table minimum\, however the initial bet must be at the table minimum. Players lacking sufficient non-value tournament chips to make a minimum bet will be considered finished for the session. \nIt is the player’s responsibility to communicate his/her desired action with the dealer. \nDealers may pay bets in any denomination they deem appropriate. \nNo toke bets are allowed for the dealers with tournament chips during play. \nAll protests must be handled at the table before players leave the table. \nA player is eliminated from play for violation of any of the tournament rules\, cheating\, or disorderly conduct. If you need clarification\, it is strongly recommended that you contact the casino directly. \n2025 Choctaw Casinos Regional Blackjack Tournament\nBlackjack Tournament Rules\n1)  Each entrant receives $3\,000 in tournament chips. \n2)  Table bet is $25 minimum/$500 maximum except for the last 3 hands (19\, 20\, 21). The final hand is $25 minimum/no maximum. \n3)  Seat positions will be assigned by a drawing at the table. DESCRIPTION:Hard Rock Biloxi has been very supportive of the Blackjack Tournament player community –  Thank you for your support of Hard Rock Biloxi and many thanks to Hard Rock management and staff for their ongoing support of Open Blackjack Tournaments! \n(Accuracy of contents not guaranteed) \nSpecial note: The popular weekly tournament event was resumed on February 4\, 2025.  The last weekly event of this series will be held on August 26\, 2025. \n4:00 PM buy-in time  and 4:30 start time for the first round play.  \nGuaranteed prize pool of $500-With total of buy-ins as the final prize pool. Note: So far these weekly events have been well attended and growing therefore they have paid $1\,000 to $1\,400+ for 1st and $500 to $700+ for 2nd place. \nWeekly Blackjack Tournaments  \nHard Rock Casino Biloxi will host a Blackjack tournament weekly starting February 4\, 2025. \nThese tournaments will be weekly every Tuesday. \nThe tournament will consist of preliminary sessions\, re-buy sessions\, possible quarter final\, semi-final\, a wild card table\, and final table. \nPlayers will gain entry into the tournament via a $20.00 entrance fee. There will be NO “free entries”. Registration will begin at 2:00pm with rounds starting at 2:30pm. Any player who does not progress through their preliminary session will be afforded the opportunity to purchase entry into the re-buy sessions. The associated fee for the re-buy session is $20.00 USD.  Each player can re-buy as many times as they would like until the end of the re-buy rounds (the last preliminary round at 6:30pm). \nHard Rock Casino Biloxi guarantees a prize pool of at least $500 however\, the entire amount from preliminary buy-ins and rebuys for tournament event will be awarded. Any collected fees will be added together for a total and divided amongst the finalist on the final table. \n50% to 1st place \n25% to 2nd place \n5% to the remaining 5 positions (3rd – 7th). \nA drawing will be held prior to the Semi Final Round to fill any vacant seats. This drawing will be done from the Re-Buy entries only. NO preliminary entries will be drawn for this drawing. Note: if a player is already playing in the Semi Final Round\, they will not qualify for a second seat and another player will be drawn. \nA wildcard drawing will be held prior to the final round from the pool of players who have participated in the tournament. Only the original entry ticket will be placed in the drum. NO re-buy tickets will qualify for this drawing. Players drawn from the wild-card pool will be awarded a seat on the Wild Card table.  Note:  If a player who has already advanced to the final round is drawn during the wildcard drawing\, said player’s ticket will be removed from the drawing drum and another draw will be conducted.  Tickets drawn from the wild-card drum will be announced across the floor and in the tournament area via loudspeaker.  Each ticket drawn will be valid for three minutes for a player to claim.  If no player makes claim to a drawn voucher within the allotted time\, a new ticket will be drawn from the wild-card drum.  Once a new ticket has been drawn\, previous tickets drawn will be void. \nPreliminary Rounds will begin at 2:30pm and continue until 6:30pm. Rebuy tables will be available as soon as players start buying in with Rebuys. If a Quarter Final is needed\, we will have positions available at ??:?? pm and ??:?? pm. Depending on whether we need a quarter final or not will determine the time of the Semi Final\, Wild Card Table\, and Final Table. \nThe format for all play during the tournament is as follows: \nPlayers will start each session with $10\,000.00 in non-value tournament chips. \n(12) Twelve hands will be dealt in each Session. \nPrior to the first hand on each round\, the dealer will give each player one card from the shoe.  The first player to receive the highest card (Ace being highest)\, will have their position marked with the lamer signifying the “1st Play rotates from left to right starting with the “1st spot\, which is represented by a numbered marker which will move in a left to right order after each hand played. Once the lamer has been moved to the last spot on the table\, the dealer will move the lamer to the first position and continue moving from left to right after each hand.  This button will be numbered to represent the current hand being played (i.e.\, 1 – 12). \nAll players must wager a minimum of $100 each hand. There is no maximum bet. \nEach player\, in turn\, will make a wager. Once a player’s wager is placed in the betting circle\, it may not be changed until the hand is over. A player’s entire bet must be placed in the betting area at once\, no “string betting” (placing one chip in the betting circle at a time) will be allowed. A player may place a wager before it is their turn\, but the wager may not be changed after it is set. \nAll wagers will be made in a timely manner\, if there is too long of a delay in wagering the dealer will announce to the player that they have 15 seconds to place a wager. If the player does not comply\, they will receive the minimum bet and play will continue. \nAny player not seated when the round starts will have the minimum wager removed from their chip stack and returned to the rack. After (3) three hands missed a player will be considered as forfeiting their spot and their bankroll will be collected into the rack. Players absent may request a player position in a later round pending availability. \nAt the end of the 10th hand all players chips will be counted and their total announced so that all players at the table can hear and see each player’s total at that point. \nAfter the 12th hand\, all players still in play will have their chips counted by the dealer and their total announced the highest total will advance to the next round. 1 winner per table\, per round. \nIf a player’s wager exceeds what is available to pay from the rack the Floor Supervisor will purchase the chips back from the player using a lamer(s) representing the amount of chips being exchanged.  The Floor Supervisor will place the lamer(s) in front of the player offering the exchange\, and the dealer will run down the chips and place them in the rack after the Floor Supervisor has verified the correct amount.  The lamer(s) in possession of the player must be separated from the player’s non-value gaming chips and must be in clear view at all times.  The Floor Supervisor will retain all lamer (s) not in possession of a player. \nIf multiple players have the same chip count and there is only one spot for advancement there will be a (3) three hand play off. If there is still a tie the players will cut one card from a single facedown deck and the highest card drawn will advance\, ace being high. \nIf a dealer fails to move the “1st spot” marker or fails to change the hand marker and the error is discovered after cards are dealt\, but before any hand has been acted upon\, the hand will be declared a dead hand. No wagers will be collected or paid\, and the hand marker will be advanced to the correct spot and/or changed to signify the correct hand number. A new round of wagers will begin\, and the new hand will be dealt. There will not be a shuffle prior to continuing. Once the first player’s hand has been acted upon\, the hand will be considered valid\, and play will continue. After the completion of the hand\, the marker will move to the next player position and the correct hand number will be represented. \nThere will be no smoking\, eating\, or drinking at the table during tournament play. \nPlayers must keep their hands in plain sight at all times\, while the tournament is in progress. All chips must be stacked by denomination and be in full view of casino personnel and other players.   Chips must never be removed from the surface of the table doing so will be grounds for disqualification. \nCollusion among players or help from spectators is prohibited and will result in disqualification. The official language of the tournament is English.  No conversations in any other language are permitted during tournament play.  No communication\, either verbal or visual\, will be permitted between player and spectator.  Violation of these rules will result in disqualification from the tournament. \nNo written\, mechanical\, or electronic aids are allowed during tournament play. \nCase money wagers can be made for double downs below the table minimum\, however the initial bet must be at the table minimum. DESCRIPTION:Hard Rock Biloxi has been very supportive of the Blackjack Tournament player community –  Thank you for your support of Hard Rock Biloxi and many thanks to Hard Rock management and staff for their ongoing support of Open Blackjack Tournaments! \n(Accuracy of contents not guaranteed) \nSpecial note: The popular weekly tournament event was resumed on February 4\, 2025.  The last weekly event of this series will be held on August 26\, 2025. \n4:00 PM buy-in time  and 4:30 start time for the first round play.  \nGuaranteed prize pool of $500-With total of buy-ins as the final prize pool. Note: So far these weekly events have been well attended and growing therefore they have paid $1\,000 to $1\,400+ for 1st and $500 to $700+ for 2nd place. \nWeekly Blackjack Tournaments  \nHard Rock Casino Biloxi will host a Blackjack tournament weekly starting February 4\, 2025. \nThese tournaments will be weekly every Tuesday. \nThe tournament will consist of preliminary sessions\, re-buy sessions\, possible quarter final\, semi-final\, a wild card table\, and final table. \nPlayers will gain entry into the tournament via a $20.00 entrance fee. There will be NO “free entries”. Registration will begin at 2:00pm with rounds starting at 2:30pm. Any player who does not progress through their preliminary session will be afforded the opportunity to purchase entry into the re-buy sessions. The associated fee for the re-buy session is $20.00 USD.  Each player can re-buy as many times as they would like until the end of the re-buy rounds (the last preliminary round at 6:30pm). \nHard Rock Casino Biloxi guarantees a prize pool of at least $500 however\, the entire amount from preliminary buy-ins and rebuys for tournament event will be awarded. DESCRIPTION:Buy-in: Friday 4:00-7:00 PM\, $100.00; Saturday 9:00-12:00 Noon\, $150.00\nUnlimited Re-buys at $100 each–Re-Buy cut off -3:00 PM\nFirst round of tournament play begins at 10:30 AM\nRules\nHard Rock Casino Biloxi will host a Blackjack tournament on Saturday\, July19\, 2025. \n\nPrize pool will be as follows: – : 1st place – $15\,000 USD; 2nd place – $5\,000 USD; 3rd through 7th place – $1\,000 USD\, totaling $25\,000 USD; – Fees collected in excess of prize pool per tournament will be evenly distributed to each position paid.\nSuperstar Shootout Prize pool will be as follows: final table prize pool structure: 1st place – $5\,000 USD; 2nd place – $2\,000 Promo; 3rd place – $1\,000 Promo; 4th place – $750 Promo; 5th place – $600 Promo; 6th place – $400 Promo; 7th place – $250 Promo; $5\,000 USD & $5\,000 Promo\, totaling $10\,000 prize pool. Select players will be invited to the tournament with no associated entrance fee. Any player who does not progress through their preliminary session will be afforded the opportunity to purchase entry into the re-buy session. (Unlimited rebuys per entrant).  The associated fee for the re-buy session is $100.00 USD per entry.\nHard Rock Casino Biloxi guarantees a prize pool of $25\,000 USD\, regardless of player participation. Once each secret bet is placed the tournament supervisor will sign the secret bet card attesting that the bet is legible and meets the table requirements (table minimum and any amount as long as the participant has enough chips to cover the bet) “All In” is acceptable. Once each participant’s secret bet has been verified\, the secret bet cards will be revealed and chips equal to the secret bet amount will be placed in the betting area before the cards are dealt. If a player writes down a number that is more than the chips available to bet all chips will be placed in the betting circle.\n\n\nIf multiple players have the same chip count and there is only one spot for advancement there will be a (3) three hand play off. If there is still a tie the players will cut one card from a single facedown deck and the highest card drawn will advance\, ace being high.\n\n\nIf a dealer fails to move the “1st spot” marker or fails to change the hand marker and the error is discovered after cards are dealt\, but before any hand has been acted upon\, the hand will be declared a dead hand. DESCRIPTION:Hard Rock Biloxi has been very supportive of the Blackjack Tournament player community –  Thank you for your support of Hard Rock Biloxi and many thanks to Hard Rock management and staff for their ongoing support of Open Blackjack Tournaments! \n(Accuracy of contents not guaranteed) \nSpecial note: The popular weekly tournament event was resumed on February 4\, 2025.  The last weekly event of this series will be held on August 26\, 2025. \n4:00 PM buy-in time  and 4:30 start time for the first round play.  \nGuaranteed prize pool of $500-With total of buy-ins as the final prize pool. Note: So far these weekly events have been well attended and growing therefore they have paid $1\,000 to $1\,400+ for 1st and $500 to $700+ for 2nd place. \nWeekly Blackjack Tournaments  \nHard Rock Casino Biloxi will host a Blackjack tournament weekly starting February 4\, 2025. \nThese tournaments will be weekly every Tuesday. \nThe tournament will consist of preliminary sessions\, re-buy sessions\, possible quarter final\, semi-final\, a wild card table\, and final table. \nPlayers will gain entry into the tournament via a $20.00 entrance fee. There will be NO “free entries”. Registration will begin at 2:00pm with rounds starting at 2:30pm. Any player who does not progress through their preliminary session will be afforded the opportunity to purchase entry into the re-buy sessions. The associated fee for the re-buy session is $20.00 USD.  Each player can re-buy as many times as they would like until the end of the re-buy rounds (the last preliminary round at 6:30pm). \nHard Rock Casino Biloxi guarantees a prize pool of at least $500 however\, the entire amount from preliminary buy-ins and rebuys for tournament event will be awarded. Depending on whether we need a quarter final or not will determine the time of the Semi Final\, Wild Card Table\, and Final Table. \nThe format for all play during the tournament is as follows: \nPlayers will start each session with $10\,000.00 in non-value tournament chips. \n(12) Twelve hands will be dealt in each Session. \nPrior to the first hand on each round\, the dealer will give each player one card from the shoe.  The first player to receive the highest card (Ace being highest)\, will have their position marked with the lamer signifying the “1st Play rotates from left to right starting with the “1st spot\, which is represented by a numbered marker which will move in a left to right order after each hand played. Once the lamer has been moved to the last spot on the table\, the dealer will move the lamer to the first position and continue moving from left to right after each hand.  This button will be numbered to represent the current hand being played (i.e.\, 1 – 12). \nAll players must wager a minimum of $100 each hand. There is no maximum bet. \nEach player\, in turn\, will make a wager. Once a player’s wager is placed in the betting circle\, it may not be changed until the hand is over. There will be NO “free entries”. Registration will begin at 2:00pm with rounds starting at 2:30pm. Any player who does not progress through their preliminary session will be afforded the opportunity to purchase entry into the re-buy sessions. The associated fee for the re-buy session is $20.00 USD.  Each player can re-buy as many times as they would like until the end of the re-buy rounds (the last preliminary round at 6:30pm). \nHard Rock Casino Biloxi guarantees a prize pool of at least $500 however\, the entire amount from preliminary buy-ins and rebuys for tournament event will be awarded. Rebuy tables will be available as soon as players start buying in with Rebuys. If a Quarter Final is needed\, we will have positions available at ??:?? pm and ??:?? pm. Depending on whether we need a quarter final or not will determine the time of the Semi Final\, Wild Card Table\, and Final Table. \nThe format for all play during the tournament is as follows: \nPlayers will start each session with $10\,000.00 in non-value tournament chips. \n(12) Twelve hands will be dealt in each Session. \nPrior to the first hand on each round\, the dealer will give each player one card from the shoe.  The first player to receive the highest card (Ace being highest)\, will have their position marked with the lamer signifying the “1st Play rotates from left to right starting with the “1st spot\, which is represented by a numbered marker which will move in a left to right order after each hand played. Once the lamer has been moved to the last spot on the table\, the dealer will move the lamer to the first position and continue moving from left to right after each hand.  This button will be numbered to represent the current hand being played (i.e.\, 1 – 12). \nAll players must wager a minimum of $100 each hand. DESCRIPTION:Hard Rock Biloxi has been very supportive of the Blackjack Tournament player community –  Thank you for your support of Hard Rock Biloxi and many thanks to Hard Rock management and staff for their ongoing support of Open Blackjack Tournaments! \n(Accuracy of contents not guaranteed) \nSpecial note: The popular weekly tournament event was resumed on February 4\, 2025.  The last weekly event of this series will be held on August 26\, 2025. \n4:00 PM buy-in time  and 4:30 start time for the first round play.  \nGuaranteed prize pool of $500-With total of buy-ins as the final prize pool. Note: So far these weekly events have been well attended and growing therefore they have paid $1\,000 to $1\,400+ for 1st and $500 to $700+ for 2nd place. \nWeekly Blackjack Tournaments  \nHard Rock Casino Biloxi will host a Blackjack tournament weekly starting February 4\, 2025. \nThese tournaments will be weekly every Tuesday. \nThe tournament will consist of preliminary sessions\, re-buy sessions\, possible quarter final\, semi-final\, a wild card table\, and final table. \nPlayers will gain entry into the tournament via a $20.00 entrance fee. Players absent may request a player position in a later round pending availability. \nAt the end of the 10th hand all players chips will be counted and their total announced so that all players at the table can hear and see each player’s total at that point. \nAfter the 12th hand\, all players still in play will have their chips counted by the dealer and their total announced the highest total will advance to the next round. 1 winner per table\, per round. \nIf a player’s wager exceeds what is available to pay from the rack the Floor Supervisor will purchase the chips back from the player using a lamer(s) representing the amount of chips being exchanged.  The Floor Supervisor will place the lamer(s) in front of the player offering the exchange\, and the dealer will run down the chips and place them in the rack after the Floor Supervisor has verified the correct amount.  The lamer(s) in possession of the player must be separated from the player’s non-value gaming chips and must be in clear view at all times.  The Floor Supervisor will retain all lamer (s) not in possession of a player. \nIf multiple players have the same chip count and there is only one spot for advancement there will be a (3) three hand play off. If there is still a tie the players will cut one card from a single facedown deck and the highest card drawn will advance\, ace being high. \nIf a dealer fails to move the “1st spot” marker or fails to change the hand marker and the error is discovered after cards are dealt\, but before any hand has been acted upon\, the hand will be declared a dead hand. No wagers will be collected or paid\, and the hand marker will be advanced to the correct spot and/or changed to signify the correct hand number. A new round of wagers will begin\, and the new hand will be dealt. There will not be a shuffle prior to continuing. Once the first player’s hand has been acted upon\, the hand will be considered valid\, and play will continue. After the completion of the hand\, the marker will move to the next player position and the correct hand number will be represented. \nThere will be no smoking\, eating\, or drinking at the table during tournament play. \nPlayers must keep their hands in plain sight at all times\, while the tournament is in progress. All chips must be stacked by denomination and be in full view of casino personnel and other players.   Chips must never be removed from the surface of the table doing so will be grounds for disqualification. \nCollusion among players or help from spectators is prohibited and will result in disqualification. The official language of the tournament is English.  No conversations in any other language are permitted during tournament play.  No communication\, either verbal or visual\, will be permitted between player and spectator.  Violation of these rules will result in disqualification from the tournament. \nNo written\, mechanical\, or electronic aids are allowed during tournament play. \nCase money wagers can be made for double downs below the table minimum\, however the initial bet must be at the table minimum. Players lacking sufficient non-value tournament chips to make a minimum bet will be considered finished for the session. \nIt is the player’s responsibility to communicate his/her desired action with the dealer. \nDealers may pay bets in any denomination they deem appropriate. \nNo toke bets are allowed for the dealers with tournament chips during play. \nAll protests must be handled at the table before players leave the table. \nA player is eliminated from play for violation of any of the tournament rules\, cheating\, or disorderly conduct. The winner will have the option to collect a cash prize or promotional chip prize. The winner will also receive a Jason of Beverly Hills Championship Bracelet valued at $40\,000.\n\nFinal table players will receive a ballot following the conclusion of the semi-final round. Players will vote whether they would like to play the final table or split the prize.\n\nThe results of the vote\, which must be unanimous\, will be announced by a Table Games tournament official.\nIf all players vote to split the final table prize\, they also must agree on the prize type (i.e.\, all winners must take their share of the prize all in cash or all in promotional chips).\nFor any amount that cannot be equally distributed\, the player with the most tournament chips at the conclusion of the semi-final round will be awarded the difference.\n\n\nIf final table play begins\, players must commit to completing the session.\nShould the final table players agree to split the cash or promotional chip prize\, they will proceed to play a round to determine the winner of the Jason of Beverly Hills Championship Bracelet. The player with the highest chip count from this round will receive the bracelet.\n\n\nBonus Drawing\n\nAt the conclusion of the tournament\, a bonus drawing will be held for tournament participants\, excluding the tournament winner(s).\nFive (5) winners will be drawn to receive $1\,000 in promotional chips. Winners will have five\n(5) minutes to claim their prize. There will be no redraws.\n\n\nParticipation into a tournament is not guaranteed if a member is unable to register during the times stated in these official rules. No special circumstances will warrant the delaying of a tournament to be able to accommodate individuals or groups of individuals.\nAll Promotional Chips are non-transferable. If Promotional Chips are given away participants will be subject to not be able to participate in future tournaments.\nThrillAgains:\n\nA “ThrillAgain” is defined as the moment a participant chooses to discard one (1) of their current cards and replace it with another. It can be used to replace one (1) of the first two\n(2) cards\, but once action has been taken on the hand\, the ThrillAgain can only replace the most recent “hit” card. The player can then continue to have action on the hand once the card has been replaced. The replacement card will be the next card in the “shoe”.\nThrillAgains may only be used once.\nIf a player does not use their ThrillAgain chip\, the chip is forfeited at the end of each round or when the player is eliminated.\nThrillAgains can be purchased once per round.\n\n\nStandard Betting Rules:\n\nNon-negotiable tournament chips will be used in each round. Tournament chips may not be used for any other purpose and must be returned at the end of each session.\nEach player starts with $10\,000 in tournament chips.\nPlay will consist of 12 hands during the preliminary round\, 18 hands during the quarter-final round\, and 24 hands in the semi-final and final round.\nThere will be a count before the last hand whenever the winner is determined through table elimination. This will occur on the 17th hand in the quarter-finals and on the 23rd hand in the semi-final and final round.\nMinimum bet amount is $100. There is no max bet.\nThe top chip amounts at each semi-final table will advance to the final round. The method of determining how many from each table go to the final round will be determined by the number of semi-final tables.\nAll Yaamava’ House Rules for Double Deck Blackjack will apply. With the following exceptions:\n\nNatural blackjacks will be paid at two (2) to one (1).\nPlayers will not be allowed to take insurance on their hand.\nCards will not be held by players. Instead\, they will be dealt face up to each hand.\n\n\nTournament Procedures:\n\nWhen the tournament is about to begin\, the tournament format\, rules and betting structure will be conveyed to the players by a tournament official.\nMembers may only purchase one (1) tournament entry and Thrillagain (when applicable) at a time. Any unused buy-ins and/or Thrillagains will be forfeited.\nBuy-in\, rebuy and Thrillagain transactions are final. No refunds will be issued.\nIn the 1st round of play\, if a player has not shown up at their assigned time when it is time to start play\, and repeated attempts to locate the player have been unsuccessful\, a player who is scheduled for a later round that wishes to play in the earlier round may be allowed to play in the missing player’s spot. An attempt will be made to find a seat for the missing player in a later 1st round\, although once a player has missed their scheduled time\, play in a later round is not guaranteed.\nPlayers may not change tables or seats without a tournament official’s approval.\nIt may become necessary to reassign tables or seats to accommodate players with special needs.\nIn order to keep betting and play fair and even for all players\, a rotating Dealer button will be used. The Dealer button will start in the 1st seat to the Dealer’s right and will rotate clockwise around the table requiring a different player to place their bet first in each hand. This negates any sort of seating advantage and keeps the players on an even playing field.\nIf a player is not in their assigned seat at the start of the round\, no cards will be dealt to\ntheir spot. The required amount of starting chips will be placed on the missing player’s spot\, and a minimum bet in tournament chips will be deducted from their chip stack for each hand missed for the first five (5) hands.\nIf the player does not begin play prior to the start of the sixth (6) hand\, the player will then be disqualified by default and their chips removed from play.\nIf a player has not started play before the end time of the tournament they will forfeit their spot in the tournament and ThrillAgain purchase\, if bought.\nFor the final round\, if they are not at their table at the start of the round they will be disqualified.\nPlayers will place bets\, receive cards and act on their hand in order\, with the player sitting to the left of the Dealer button betting first\, receiving cards first and acting on their hand first.\nChips must be visible and stacked by denomination at all times.\nThe player with the Dealer button will always act last. After the last player has acted on their hand\, the Dealer will receive their cards and expose their hand.\nEvery player must make a minimum bet on every deal or they may bet the maximum bet if so inclined.\nWhen it is a player’s turn to bet\, and they have released chips in the betting circle\, their bet amount cannot be changed.\nBets made out of turn will not be binding. Bets may be adjusted by the players in betting order\, and a replacement hand will be completed.\nOnce the Dealer has exposed their hand\, the Dealer will pay winning hands and collect from losing hands in accordance with standard Blackjack procedures.\nAt the end of the semi-finals and final round\, all of the players’ chips will be counted and the player(s) with the most chips will be declared the table winner(s).\nIf more than one player is to advance\, the players who have the most chips will be the ones to advance.\nTies – If two or more players are tied\, each remaining participant will receive $10\,000 in tournament chips and a five (5) hand playoff will be used to determine the advancing player or winner. If still tied after five (5) hands\, there will be a sudden death playoff\, which will continue until a winner is decided. Players will draw for seat position. The button will start to the right of the dealer.\n\nTied players will have seven (7) minutes to return to the tournament location for their playoffs. If a player does not return within the allotted time\, they will not be allowed to participate in the playoffs.\nThe playoffs will begin with all tied players who returned within the allotted time. If only one (1) player returned\, the returning player will be considered the winner.
