Summer Tournament Opportunities Continue
As the 2026 Tournament Blackjack calendar continues taking shape, several recurring and destination events remain active through the summer and into the latter part of the year.
As always, players are encouraged to monitor the BJTUSA Event Calendar and Event Listings sections regularly for complete dates, details, links, and possible updates or changes.
Upcoming Tournament Activity
The Running Aces Weekly Free Roll qualifier events are about to wrap up but continue in Minnesota leading into the May 31st $25,000 Tournament of Champions event. The qualifier format has continued generating interest among many players and remains another example of a property continuing to support Tournament Blackjack in its own unique way.
Also upcoming in June is the next Golden Nugget Las Vegas $100,000 Blackjack Tournament taking place June 12–14. With three remaining $100,000 events still on the 2026 calendar, Golden Nugget continues offering some of the larger Tournament Blackjack opportunities currently available.
Hard Rock Biloxi also continues with its Summer Series schedule of recurring monthly open tournaments, $25,000 events in June and July, followed by a $30,000 event in August. Because of both accessibility and consistency, Hard Rock Biloxi continues remaining an important stop for many within the Tournament Blackjack community.
The June 27–28 Island Resort & Casino event in Harris, Michigan also returns this summer. Although somewhat different in format from more traditional events, many players continue speaking highly of both the property and the overall tournament experience there.
The next Paragon Casino Resort $25,000 Tournament Blackjack event takes place July 11–12 in Marksville, Louisiana, with the November tournament also remaining on the calendar later this year. Checkout the tournament listing herein to review a slightly updated set of Rules for the July event. Expect a follow-up post within the event listing when the room rates and discount codes are released by the Paragon hotel.
For many in the BJTUSA community, Paragon continues standing out as one of the more recognizable and player-supported open Tournament Blackjack destinations currently operating. Beyond the tournament itself, the property has developed a reputation for providing a comfortable and unique overall experience that many players continue returning to year after year. For those who may have never visited Paragon Casino Resort — and even for the many who already have — the following recently published feature article offers a broader look at both the property and the surrounding area. It provides a good overview of some of what makes the destination somewhat unique among Tournament Blackjack venues. The recurring monthly Live! Casino evening events in the Hanover, Maryland area also continue appearing on the calendar through December. While geographically farther away for many BJTUSA members, these monthly tournaments still provide another recurring opportunity for players in that region and for those already familiar with Live! Casino tournament play.
The Beat Goes On
As interest in Tournament Blackjack continues to grow from market to market, the continued support shown by both players and participating properties remains extremely important in helping worthwhile events survive and grow.
Many within this community understand that successful tournaments rarely happen by accident. They continue because players participate, properties support them, casino personnel work hard to organize them, and the overall community continues showing interest in keeping live Tournament Blackjack active and visible.
