The 2026 tournament season is off and running, very appropriately beginning with one of the longest-standing tournament offerings on the calendar, at Hard Rock Biloxi. At their opening tournament of the year, four members of our BJTUSA community reached the final table, with one finishing in second place. It was a strong start to the season and a good reflection of the depth and experience that continues to be part of this group. We congratulate them for their success and for representing us well!
Of note to our close-knit player community – In recent months, several BJTUSA subscribers have let us know they would not be able to attend tournament events due to personal health concerns or situations involving family members. Privacy has always been a high priority within BJTUSA, and out of respect for those individuals, we won’t go into specific circumstances, but it is important to recognize is that these folks remain connected, stay in touch, and continue to be strong supporters of our community. We keep them in our thoughts and prayers and wish them the very best as they focus on what understandably comes first.
As the season continues, maintaining a strong and consistent tournament calendar remains important to the community as a whole. Well-run events, steady participation, and ongoing engagement help ensure that opportunities remain available—for those playing now and for those who look forward to returning when the time is right.

As we get ready for the upcoming $25,000 blackjack tournament at Paragon Casino Resort on March 7–8, we wanted to take a moment to acknowledge why Paragon continues to be such a familiar and well-regarded stop on the tournament calendar. Several players reported having trouble locating the group room details in a recent update, and we want to make sure the information is easy to find so no one will miss out on the special room rates for this excellent tournament.
Paragon Casino Resort will be hosting three blackjack tournament weekends in 2026 — March, July, and November. The March room block is confirmed and currently open, and the details below apply to that event. Based on prior tournaments, we expect the July and November room rates to be similar, and those details will be posted well in advance so everyone has time to plan.
If you’re planning to attend the March tournament—or even just thinking about it—we recommend reserving early. Group rooms are limited and available only while the block remains open
